Google Glass can be used to buy and sell drugs in the Irish pharmacy chain wegmans, according to a report in The Irish Times.
Dublin-based Wegmans Pharmacy has an online store, which is owned by pharma giant Pfizer, where the app can be installed on the device.
The app allows users to order a prescription online, order medication, order a delivery from a pharmacy and also browse the drug and pharmacy information.
Google Glass can also be used for online pharmacy searches, although it requires a Google account to do so.
The online pharmacy is operated by Pfizer.
Wegman’s website states: “The app is used to access Pfizer’s products, services and pharmacy network.”
Google Glass is a smart-phone-sized device that can also take photos, record videos and interact with apps.
The device is available on the iPhone and Android.
Earlier this month, Google announced a partnership with Wegmann Pharmacy.
Pfizer said it will provide €3 million in funding to Wegmens pharmacy.
Earlier in the year, Pfizer announced a deal with Weghmans Pharmacies to supply its branded devices and technology to the chain.
